Question Traded the Sport Trac in and got a Fusion.

My life sucks, so I traded my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac in this past Wednesday on an 07 Ford Fusion. Hated to do it, but was behind on the payments 3 months, and it needed tires at $700. I got a new job earlier this month finally but I make about half what I used to make at the Ford dealer. I hate the pay and work at the lube place, I was a REAL technician... But I guess in this economy you take what you can get! So the $400 payment was almost impossible with all my other bills. Got $16,000 for my truck with all the mods, it was worth $14,000, I owed $15,000. Got the Fusion for $11,000. So roughly it will save me over $100 in payment plus about $75 per month on gas.

But knowing me, the Fusion won't stay stock for long! I already have plans for it...

Future plans:
18" gunmetal wheels
Chrome door handles
Tint windows to 35%
Front airdam spoiler
SEL model chrome foglight surrounds
VHT nightshades tint all lenses
maybe more...

No pictures yet as I currently have NO digital camera, old one broke and can't afford a new one.
My question is: would you folks consider Charcoal Gray murdered or am I going to have to leave...

Congrats on the job and the Fusion. My father-in-law just picked one up and loves it. You did good on the trade and still got a good price on the car (provided it's got low miles). Enjoy and pop some pics up when you get near a camera!

Yeah, it has 41,000 miles. Pretty low to me.

41K is low - everything I own has been over 100K for a while now My FIL's Fusion has the same miles and he paid the same, but it's a year older. Nice buy.

The Fusion won Motor Trend's "Car of the Year" award, so it should be a decent ride.

Good deal, but sorry you had to do it. My F150 payments are $810.10 every month, I'll be paying it off next week which is a year early and you can't believe how good I'm feeling right now. But then again I got an 05' Ram SRT10, and 06' Dodge Charger I gotta keep paying, DAMN.

So far, so good. We love it! Lots of power for a little four banger, rides good, handles great, and the seats are awesome! Never sat in a car seat so comfortable. They are black sueded microfiber (imitation suede) same stuff my couch is covered in.

Oh, and I said pics were coming as soon as I got a new camera, totally forgot about them... so here goes: That and decided to wait until the spamming situation was put under control here...

2.3L 150HP four cylinder engine, all stock for now...

Interior: (sorry it's blurry, dunno why... needs to be vacuumed too!)

16" Wheel up close, found chrome wheelskins on Ebay:

NEWER PIC with Ford centercap:

Gotta mod on the cheap right now, as was unemployed for 6 months, and new job pays half what my old one did... Later on I want to put some 18" wheels in gunmetal.
