Question Satin black info...

I'm almost ready to get my car sprayed satin black but the bloke i'm chatting with says that i should think about it because matte and satin colours aren't waterproof.
Surely it isn't an issue if everyone has got it done already? And isn't there satin paint lacquer that can be used?
Any info would be great.

Satin and Matte colors have a clear coat that can protect it from that. It can stain if not taken care of. I have a matte black on my truck and have not had an issue with water stains.

Hope that helps...
